We know keeping motivated at times are hard for all of us. So to help you kick-off your day (or to direct you to your studio at any time of the day!) we compiled a little motivational booster list for you. Read below and let us know what else you would add to this list. 

• Make work 

• Learn about and Love the ninth street women!

• Be yourself

• Work and work and work some more. It takes a lot of creating to find your voice and then even more work to hold onto that voice and polish it. 

• Always be authentic to yourself and your voice.

• Never, never let anyone tell you that you can't, won't, shouldn't be an artist because it doesn't make money. It is a worthless cause. Believe in yourself and prove them wrong.

• Practice and resilience 

• Don’t create what other people want or expect. Be true to yourself, your passion, and create what comes from within. That’s your voice… what defines you and your art. 

• Work every day like all of [the ninth street women]!

• Don’t be a pleaser. Just paint.
